The report on tests.

The description of a sample:

The sample consists of several parts. Each cell of system of ceilings consists of their PVH-film (varnish covering 5 % on weight), hooks from PVH (76,5 % on weight).

Technique:

The test was conducted on mice with the purpose of an estimation of danger of a sharp poisoning with products of combustion selected certain construction materials and materials for a furnish of interiors. The carried out tests were based on a technique developed by Aivz Alari from Pittsburg University, and also were made according to the protocols and methodology stated and ordered "Uniform set of rules of construction and fire-prevention safety" of the state of New York, Clause 15, Part 1120, "åests on toxic results at combustion", 9 NYCRR 1120 (2).

Brief results:

At tests on the specified technique "Systems of ceilings BARRISOL made from PVH-film with a varnish covering" the result was LC50, equal 20,33g (CI, 14.92-27.71) and basic toxic component has appeared carbon monoxide. Thus, the results of the given research have shown, that the tested sample can be considered no more toxic than a tree, according to procedure and criteria developed for such tests by doctor A. Alari and authorized in New York on January 22, 1987, and also according to the voluntary research, carried out on the circular circuit, of four laboratories and other by the connected data. The additional information is given in Tab. 1 and 2.

Research of the superficial characteristics of burning.

The given report contains results of standard tests ASTM E84 on movement of fire in the tunnel furnace on a material given by the firm "SV-Barrisol".
 The testing of materials is made according to ASTM E84-87, "A standard method of tests of the characteristics of superficial burning of building materials".  
 The purpose of the given tests is the estimation of the characteristics of tested samples in comparison with the characteristics of plates of concrete-glass and parket of a red oak under similar conditions of influence of a flame. Calculation of the characteristic of a flame, smoke and temperature at 10-minute influence of a flame, and the results expressed as factor, accepting the characteristics of concrete plate for 0, and parket from a red oak - for 100 units.

 The results of tests are counted up on the basis of supervision for movement of fire and by measurement of the area under curves of temperature of the furnace and smoke-ability. To take into account possible disorder of experimental results caused by imperfection of methods of testing, the received numerical importance approximate up to nearest figure, multiple 5.  The results are showen in table
